The All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) on the occasion of International Stuttering Awareness Day – 2024 will be organising a two-day national level seminar on ‘Enhancing Speech Fluency – Evidence Based Approaches for Clinical Practice’ from tomorrow (Oct. 21) at its premises in Manasagangothri.
The event will be inaugurated by senior journalist C.J. Rajeeva at Seminar Hall at 9.30 am. AIISH Director Prof. M. Pushpavathi will be present.
International Stuttering Awareness Day is observed every year on Oct. 22 to raise awareness about the challenges faced by persons who stutter. This year, the theme of International Stuttering Awareness Day 2024, is ‘The Power of Listening’ to encourage everyone to think about how we listen to people who stutter. This event will bring together 10 experts from all around the world to share the latest insights and strategies for improving stuttering.
