Two-day Sensitisation Workshop for Police Officers concludes

Mysuru: A two-day sensitisation workshop for Police Officers to evolve people-friendly Police, organised by District Police, concluded at SP’s office here yesterday.

About 64 Police Officers, picked up from 16 Sub-Divisions of Southern Range from Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar districts, participated in the workshop.

The participants were groomed by IGP (Southern Range) Vipul Kumar, SP Ravi D. Channannavar and Additional SP Rudramuni on how to receive the public, modify their behaviour to become people-friendly and how to respond to phone calls from public along with redesigning the Police Stations to incite people.

Vipul Kumar asked the participants to conduct training for a week in their jurisdiction and evolve a totally people-friendly Police by first week of next month.
