‘Noopura Shri’ award for Dr. Tulasi Ramachandra

Mysuru: Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust has organised Smt. K. Vanajakshamma Memorial 29th Nritya Aradhana-2024 at Ganabharathi’s Ramagovinda Kalavedike in Kuvempunagar on Dec. 9 and 10.

Dec. 9 – 6 pm: Bharatanatyam by Vid. K.R. Vishwadeepa, son and disciple of Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao. Kannada & Culture Department Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy will be the guest of honour; 7 pm: Nritya Vaibhava – Group Dance by Nrityaniketana Kodavoor, Udupi (Direction by Sudhir Rao Kodavoor and Vidu. Manasi Sudhir).

Dec. 10 – 6 pm: Dr. Tulasi Ramachandra, Director of Nrityalaya, will be conferred with ‘Noopura Shri’ award. JSS Mahavidyapeetha Publication Division Director Prof. Morabada Mallikarjuna will be the guest of honour; 7 pm: Group dance by students of Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust. They will be accompanied by Prof. Ramamurthy Rao on natuvanga and vocal, Vid. M.R. Hanumantharaju on mridanga and Vid. H.S. Thandavamurthy on violin.
