MDMA, Ecstasy tablets and LSD drugs weighing 31 grams, Rs. 5,000 cash, two mobile phones, one bike seized

Mysore/Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, acting on a tip off that drugs were being sold at a spot on Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar ‘K’ Block, raided the spot on Dec. 23 and arrested two drug peddlers, who were waiting for customers.

Those arrested are a final year law student at a city college and another, a lawyer by profession. The Police have seized MDMA and Ecstasy tablets and LSD drugs weighing 31 grams, Rs. 5,000 cash, two mobile phones and a Royal Enfield bike from them. The Police are investigating to find out from where the accused used to procure drugs and to whom they were selling it.

DCP (Crime and Traffic) M.S. Geetha Prasanna and CCB ACP C.K. Ashwathnarayan guided CCB Inspector A. Mallesh, Sub-Inspectors Pratibha Jangavada and Shabareesh and staff K.G. Srinivas, Mamatha, Ravikumar and Raghu in the nabbing and seizing operation.
