It is reported that Constable Manjunath was taking the cattle seized during a raid to Pinjrapole Society when the vehicle broke down.

Three persons, who were coming behind the vehicle in a SUV, began to honk for way but the vehicle which had broken down did not budge from the spot which irked the people in the SUV.

Soon, the three occupants of the SUV got down from the vehicle and began to hurl abuses on the Constable using foul language.
