Two killed as lorry rams into bike

Mysuru: In a tragic incident a bike rider was killed on the spot while the pillion rider, who suffered serious injuries, died at a hospital when a goods lorry rammed into the bike on which they were riding near Byathahalli on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road yesterday.

The deceased have been identified as Madhusudan (20), a resident of Ramabainagar and Mahesh (23), both employees of TVS factory at Kadakola.

Madhusudan and Mahesh were returning home on their bike after finishing their work, when a goods lorry coming from Mysuru side rammed into the bike near Byathahalli on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road, killing Madhusudan on the spot and seriously  injuring Mahesh.

Mahesh was rushed to K.R. Hospital and was later shifted to a private hospital in city where he breathed his last after failing to respond to the   treatment.
