Two killed in accidents

Mysuru:  In separate road accidents, a youth and a woman were killed when trucks collided with their two-wheelers in city.

In the first case, Mohammed Nadeem (28), a resident of Rajivnagar was proceeding on his Suzuki Access scooter (KA-55-X-8383) towards Columbia Asia Hospital on the Ring Road, when a tipper truck (KA-11-A-9951) which came from the service road on the left side rammed into the scooter resulting in Nadeem suffering serious injuries. He breathed his last while being shifted to a hospital.

In the second case, Latha (38), a resident of Manjunathapura, succumbed to injuries at a private hospital after she was hit by a tipper truck on Nelson Mandela Road in city.

Latha was proceeding towards LIC Circle on Nelson Mandela Road on her Honda Dio scooter (KA-09-HS-9160), when the tipper truck (KA-51-5234)  which came from the opposite side rammed into the scooter resulting in Latha suffering from serious injuries. Though she was rushed to a private hospital, Latha succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
