Mysore/Mysuru: In yet another case of fake site document creation, the Narasimharaja (NR) Police have registered a case against two persons on charges of usurping a site valued at lakhs of rupees in the city with the help of unknown persons.
The accused are Aslam Pasha and Mohammad Imran Khan.
Details: K.A. Lingegowda, a resident of Bandigowda Layout in Mandya, was allotted a 30’x40’ site (No. 243) in Mysuru’s Bannimantap ‘C’ Layout, by the then CITB (City Improvement Trust Board) on Aug. 23, 1974.
After Lingegowda’s death, the site’s Khata was transferred to the name of his wife H.S. Sunanda on May 24, 2003, following which the Title Deed was issued to Sunanda on Aug. 10, 2004. The Khata was transferred to Sunanda’s name in the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) records too.
Meanwhile, one Aslam Pasha, claiming himself to be the GPA (General Power of Attorney) of one Mohammad Imran Khan, created fake documents and got the site transferred to his name on Aug. 29, 2018 and also succeeded in getting the Title Deed.
But after coming to know that some fraudsters had created fake documents and got the site in the name of Aslam Pasha, the site’s legal owner Sunanda’s daughter K.L. Savitha lodged a complaint with the NR Police on May 16. Following the complaint, the Police are investigating the case.
