Two persons commit suicide in city

Mysuru: In separate incidents, two persons committed suicide in city.

In the first incident, Biliappa (50), a resident of Janata Nagar here and a Pani Puri vendor, committed suicide by hanging self at his house. It is learnt that Biliappa, who was suffering from depression, was not talking properly with any of his family members and was not showing interest in the business. Saraswathipuram Police have registered a case and are investigating.

In the second incident, Kumar (30), a resident of BB Keri and a Supervisor of Pourakarmikas in the MCC, who had consumed poison on Apr. 30 near Jaganmohan Palace and was admitted to K.R. Hospital, breathed his last at the hospital after failing to respond to the treatment.

Kumar, who is married, has a child, it is learnt. The reason for Kumar to take this extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

Devaraja Police have registered a case and are investigating.
