Two-wheeler lifter arrested

Three bikes worth about Rs. 65,000 recovered

Mysuru: Metagalli Police, on July 12, found a person standing in a suspicious manner along with a Bajaj CT 100 bike without registration number plate near Sri Mahadeshwara Temple in Kumbarakoppal and took him into custody. When the Cops questioned him, they came to know that he had stolen the bike following which they arrested him.

The arrested person has been identified as 23-year-old Deepak, a resident of Bore Anandooru village at Yelwal in the taluk.

During interrogation, the accused is said to have revealed of lifting one Bajaj CT 100, one Hero Honda Splendor and one Honda Shine bike in Metagalli and Vijayanagar Police limits. Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered the bikes from him.

Metagalli Inspector H.T. Sunil Kumar, SI Vishwanath, ASI Ponnappa and staff Mallikarjunappa, Lingarajappa, Suresh, Shivakumar, Ravindra and Asha took part in the nabbing and recovery operation.
