Two-wheeler lifter held: Three bikes worth about Rs. 1 lakh recovered

Mysuru: Saraswathipuram Police, on Oct. 4 took into custody a 26-year-old youth who tried to flee after seeing them near Javaregowda Park here.

The cops who took the youth along with a Hero Honda Splendor Plus bike he was riding, subjected him to interrogation during which the cops came to know that he had stolen two-wheelers following which the Police arrested him.

Based on the information provided by the accused the cops recovered a Hero Honda Splendor Plus bike, Bajaj CT 100 and a Suzuki Samurai bike all worth about Rs. 1 lakh from him.

DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amathe and KR Sub-Division ACP N.M. Dharmappa supervised Saraswathipuram Inspector N.C. Nagegowda, SI N. Mohan, ASI B.N. Kantharaju and staff Basavaraje Urs, B.S. Kantharaju, H.V. Manjunath, Ramaiah, Nagesh and Harish Achar in the nabbing and recovery operation.
