Mysuru: Devaraja Police, on Aug. 22, have arrested a man who was trying to sell a stolen Honda Activa scooter near the scrap yard (gujari) on Geetha Mandira Road in Lashkar Mohalla here. The accused has been identified as Syed Wasim of Belavatta in city.

During interrogation, the accused is said to have confessed of lifting two-wheelers in Devaraja Police limits and based on the information, the Cops have recovered one Honda Activa scooter, one Hero Electric Scooter, one Yamaha RX 135 bike and a Kinetic Honda scooter from the accused.

DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amathe and Devaraja ACP Rajashekar supervised Devaraja Inspector Thimmaraju, SI K. Lepaksha, staff Eshwarappa, Shadakshari, Varadaraju, Anjaneya and R. Nandeesh in the nabbing and recovery operation.
