Two scooters worth about Rs. 1.10 lakh recovered

Mysuru: June 7 (KS)- The Special Police Team of City Crime Branch (CCB), during the operation conducted on Pulakeshi Road on June 5, has arrested two persons on charges of stealing two-wheelers and has recovered two scooters worth about Rs. 1.10 lakh from them.

The arrested are 33-year-old Siraj Ahmed of Gandhinagar and Amjad Pasha of Kailaspuram, in city.

During interrogation, the accused are said to have told the Police that they had stolen the vehicles from Mandi Police limits and based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered two Honda Activa scooters worth about Rs. 1.10 lakh from them.

DCP M. Muthuraj and CCB ACP Mariyappa supervised CCB Inspector C. Kiran Kumar, ASI Chaandregowda and staff Ramaswamy, Chikkanna, M.R. Ganesh, Rajendra, Niranjan, Chandrashekar and Chamundamma, in the nabbing and recovery operation, according to a press release.
