Two bikes worth about Rs.80,000 recovered

Mysuru:  The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police on Feb.22 have arrested two persons on charges of stealing two-wheelers and have recovered two bikes worth about Rs.80,000 from them.

The arrested have been identified as M. Mahesh, a native of Jedarahalli in Bengaluru and Antony Robin of Naidu Nagar here. Both were presently residing behind Chamundeshwari Theatre.

The duo were found trying to sell the stolen bikes on Jayaram Pandit 2nd Cross Road in Shivarampet here when they were arrested by the CCB Police.

During interrogation, the accused are said to have confessed of stealing a TVS Victor bike near Jaganmohan Palace and a Hero Honda Splendor behind Krishna Rajendra Bank on Thyagaraja Road.

CCB Inspector R. Jagadish, ASI Alexander, Chandregowda and staff took part in the nabbing and recovery operation.
