UGC-NET exam postponed

New Delhi: In view of covid-19 spike across the country, the Union Government has postponed the UGC-NET exam (National Eligibility Test) that was scheduled to take place throughout the country from May 2 to 17.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which is tasked with the conduct of the exam to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professorship or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) posts, in a release said that the fresh dates of the exam will be notified at least 15 days in advance. The decision to postpone the May exam has been taken taking into consideration the safety and well-being of candidates.
