Uncleared garbage: MCC acts swiftly

September 22, 2023

Sir,

This is with reference to the letter “Uncleared garbage: Will MCC act?” published in SOM dated Sept. 14.

I had drawn the attention of the authorities concerned towards the debris dump not being cleared from the lane behind my residence in V.V. Mohalla since a long time. I had personally requested the daily garbage cleaner/driver of garbage van to clear the dump but in vain.

I had also complained to the MCC control room to attend to the problem. Thankfully, today the MCC has acted swiftly. The garbage is cleared and the road looks neat and tidy (see pic).

Thank you Star.
