Undertake special drive to book traffic rule violators

October 25, 2018

Sir,

In spite of vigilant checks by the Traffic Police at many vantage points, we still can see plenty of traffic rule violators.

In the above photo one rider appears to be of under-age riding without helmet and the other rider is a smart guy who has removed the registration number plate of his vehicle and also riding without helmet.

The riders of vehicles without number plates are increasing on Mysuru Roads and Traffic Police should go for a special drive to penalise and confiscate vehicles plying without registration number plates or with improper registration plates.

Apart from indulging in traffic violations, these riders may also get involved in criminal activities using their vehicles, since they cannot be tracked with the help of missing or improper registration number plates.
