Mysuru: In separate cases, the Lakshmipuram Garuda Police personnel and the Jayapura Police, have found the bodies of unidentified persons in their jurisdictions.

In the first case, the Lakshmipuram Garuda Police personnel during their regular beat on Feb. 21, found a body of an unidentified man near Sarada Vilas College here. The unidentified man is 5.5 ft. tall, aged between 50 and 55 years, oily red complexioned, oval faced and was found wearing a white and green colour checks half-arm shirt and a faded black pant. The body is shifted to MMC&RI mortuary.

In the second case, Jayapura Police personnel have found the body of a man in a decomposed state in a ditch near Somanathanagar Bus Stand in city.

The unidentified man is 5.5 ft. tall, sports beard and was wearing a white coloured full-arm shirt.

A member of the public, who got foul smell emanating from the ditch, inspected the place and found the dead body. He immediately informed other members of the public. Jayapura Police, who rushed to the spot, shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary besides registering a case.

The unidentified body has bite marks behind the head and the Police have suspected that the person may have slipped and fallen into the ditch resulting in his death and stray dogs may have bitten him.
