Two unidentified bodies were found in two separate incidents. One is suspected to be a suicide case and the other a murder case.

In the first incident, an unidentified person is suspected to have committed suicide by jumping into Varuna Lake on Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road, according to a complaint lodged by one Mallikarjun, a resident of Megalapura village in Varuna hobli. It is learnt that the body of the unidentified person was found floating in the lake on Mar. 21 and as there was no information or identity about the deceased, Mallikarjun has lodged a complaint at Varuna Police Station in this regard. It is yet to be ascertained, whether the deceased person slipped and fell into the lake or committed suicide. In another case, a body of an unidentified person, aged between 25 and 30 years, stuffed in a plastic bag, was found in a pond at Tata Mains premises in Doddakanya village coming under Mysuru South Police limits on Mar. 20. It is suspected that the person may have been murdered. Mysuru South Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
