Mysuru/Nanjangud – In separate incidents, three unidentified bodies including that of a woman were found at Mysuru Rural Police, Mysuru Railway Police and Nanjangud Town Police limits.

In the first case, Mysuru Railway Police found an unidentified woman, who had consumed poison, lying in Pandavapura Railway Station and shifted her to K.R. Hospital where she breathed her last on Apr. 7 after failing to respond to the treatment. The unidentified woman is said to be about 40 years, 5 ft. tall, oval faced, wheatish complexioned, normal built and was wearing a floral design green colour saree and green colour blouse when found by the Railway Police who have registered a case besides shifting the body to MMC&RI mortuary.

In the second case, Mysuru South Rural Police have found the body of an unidentified person said to be between 45 and 50 years of age near Sri Dinkammana Temple in Rammanahalli on Saturday.

The villagers, who found the body near the Temple, informed the Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.

The unidentified person is 5.5 ft. tall, normal built, dark complexioned and was wearing a grey and green colour T-shirt and yellow colour shorts when found. The kith and kin, if any, may contact Mysuru South  Rural Police or the mortuary.

In the third case, a body of an unidentified person was found floating in River Kapila on Apr. 10. The unidentified person, said to be about 34 years, may have been drowned about 3-4 days back.

Dy.SP Sujitha Mohamed, Hullahalli SI Muddumadaiah and staff visited the spot and conducted preliminary investigation.

Hullahalli Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
