Unidentified body: Murder case registered after four years

Mysore/Mysuru: Udayagiri Police, based on the post-mortem report, have registered a case of murder after the body of an unidentified man was found in 2019.

On Mar. 3, 2019, Udayagiri Police had found a body of an unidentified man in the big drain adjacent to Narayana Hospital.

The deceased was aged between 30 and 40 years and the body was highly decomposed, bloated with boils.

The Police had shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary and as the kith and kin of the deceased could not be traced, the Police had conducted the last rites at Jodi Tenginamara Burial Grounds in Bannimantap.
