Unidentified woman killed after coming under moving train

Mysuru: An unidentified elderly woman, who was crossing the railway track near Tandavapura Railway Station on Mysuru-Nanjangud route has been run over by a train last evening.

The deceased woman, said to be about 75 years, has flower tattoos on both her hands, white hair and was wearing a red colour saree. Mysuru Railway Police SI Krishnamurthy and staff, who rushed to the spot on receiving information, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.

The kith and kin of the deceased may contact Mysuru Railway Police.
