About 2-3 months back, the road stretching from the residence of MCC Commissioner to the Circle adjoining the under-bridge was concretised spending huge public funds. In view of this work, the road was closed to the public during the period.

After all this exercise, the concrete road laid right under the nose of the Commissioner is unscientific. The road has several wrinkles and the motorists feel that they are riding on some unasphalted road. When this can happen before the Commissioner’s house, one can imagine the plight elsewhere. 

Further, in recent times, almost all the roads in Mysuru are in a miserable condition thereby causing huge inconvenience to its users.  In view of Dasara celebrations, the MCC is indulged in pothole filling and asphalting some vital roads on top priority.

It is abominable to say the least that these prioritised works are being done in a highly untidy manner using public funds. The pothole filling is done without any scientific approach. Whom shall we hold responsible for this lacuna ?
