Mysuru/Mysore: With the University of Mysore (UoM) declaring a long-holiday for students in the wake of COVID-19 scare, the University’s Educational Multi-Media Research Centre (EMRC) has urged the students to study from the safety of their homes by reaching on the digital education platform being provided by the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC). While being at home, the students should connect with the CEC digital educational platforms for the course-ware available as below:
• E-content course-ware in 87 undergraduate subjects available on CEC website.
• 11 subject based SWAYAM Prabha DTH Channels available on DD free dish, Dish TV and Reliance Jio mobile app. These channels are providing curriculum based educational programmes including live lectures in various higher education subjects which include Humanities, Science, Management, Professional Courses, Computer Science and Indian and Classical Music.
• UG and PG MOOCs which were earlier delivered on SWAYAM Platform are being archived and may be accessed by any learner on: http://ugcmoocs. inflibnet.ac.in/ugcmoocs/
• Besides, students can also go to CEC-UGC YouTube Channel and make use of unlimited educational curriculum based lectures absolutely free that could help them keep pace with academics at this hour of distress.
