UoM to hold Flower Show at Kukkarahalli Lake from Sept. 30

Mysuru:  As part of Dasara festival, University of Mysore (UoM) has organised a 10-day flower show at Kukkarahalli Lake premises from Sept.30 to Oct.9.

UoM Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will inaugurate the flower show at 5 pm on Sept. 30. Registrar Prof. R. Shivappa, Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. K.M. Mahadevan and UoM faculty Prof. T.S. Devaraj will be the chief guests. 

The flower show will be open for public between 9 am and 7 pm on all days till Oct. 9. A variety of flowers, herbs, medicinal plants and other flowers will be on display. Entry is free, according to a press release from UoM Horticulture Department.
