Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Dasara, the Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA), in association with the Department of Minorities Welfare, has organised a Urdu Kavigoshti (Mushaira) at  Dasara exhibition grounds at 7 pm tomorrow (Sept. 27).

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, KEA Chairman Ayub Khan said that District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate the event at Kalingarao Mantapa in exhibition grounds in the presence of Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan and K.R. MLA T.S. Srivatsa.

Urdu Kavigoshti will be held from 7 pm to 11 pm, he said adding that as many as 14 renowned Urdu poets — Imran Pratapgarhi, who is also an MP, Sampat Saral of Gujarat, Mohammad Nadeem Akhtar, Manik Dubey, Shams Tabraiz Hashmi, Himanshi Bhabra, Adil Rashid, Dr. Sunil Panwar Warsi,who is also an IFS officer, Tanveer Ahmed Azeem, Sha Abdul Rashid, Mirza Abbas Ali, Abdul Hakeem and Bibi Ayesha — will be taking part. 

Dasara Kavigoshti Sub-Committee Deputy Special Officer Somashekar, Working President Lolakshi, President Suresh, Manonmani, Maridevaiah, Suhail Baig, Akram and others released the posters during the press meet.
