Mysuru: Dr.M. Raghavendran, Consultant Urologist and Transplant Surgeon, Apollo BGS Hospital, Mysuru, presented papers at the Indo American Urological Association (IAUA)  as well as at the American Urological Association at their Annual Meetings held at San Francisco, US, recently.

His poster titled “Thrombosis in Emphysematous Pyloneph can be significant” was described as outstanding poster by IAUA in their plaque awarded to him.

His other two presentations,  “Seeing is believing: Is the type of anaesthetisia in Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy important?” and “Can increased dose of solifenacin be an answer for stent related symptoms?” was well-received.

Janet V.Skorepa, Executive Vice-President, Education, in her thanksgiving letter, has invited Dr. Raghavendran to join next year in Chicago for their Annual meeting during May, 2019.
