Mysuru:  Under the auspices of Rotary Ivory City Mysuru, a fund-raising event titled  “Romance of Rhythm King O.P. Nayyar with Legendary Singers” has been organised by V.N. Prasad & Troupe on  Apr.8 (Sunday) at the MMC and RI Platinum Jubilee Auditorium, from 5.45 pm onwards.

Popular and vintage numbers composed by the legend and sung by greats like Mohammed Rafi, Asha Bhonsle, Geeta Dutt, Shamshad Begum, Kishore Kumar and Mahendra Kapur are planned at the programme.

Rotary Ivory City Mysuru is a community service organisation catering to the needs of economically weaker and needy in the society — like Gift of Sight through Usha Kiran Eye Hospital, Gift of Life through Kamakshi Hospital, Gift of Smile through Pejawara Sreedhama – Old Age Home, Gift of Hearing through School for the Mother & Deaf Child — in association with Rotary Coimbatore Metropolis, Gift of channelled education through ACME School, Gift of Computer Education through select schools and many more.
