V. Suresh Babu (64), retired Pharmacist of PKTB Hospital and a resident of 14th Main, Ramanuja Road, passed away following prolonged illness at a private hospital in city yesterday afternoon.

He leaves behind his wife Sunanda, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this noon.

Former CM B.S. Yeddiyurappa had appreciated Sureshbabu for working continuously without taking leave for 25 years.
