Vaccination for CFTRI staff begins

Mysore/Mysuru: Following a request from Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), a vaccination booth has been set up at the Institute’s Health Centre to vaccinate the employees above 45 years of age.

The Centre was opened by MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag yesterday. 

The vaccines were supplied by the Government Health Department and the CFTRI Health Centre staff are vaccinating the beneficiaries. Since it was the premier Central Government agency, the District Health Department had agreed to supply the vaccines to  them, said Dr. L. Ravi, Reproductive and Child Health Officer and Nodal Officer for Covid-19 vaccination in Government Hospitals.
