Vande Bharat and Shatabdi Trains: A Suggestion

August 5, 2023

Sir,

Vande Bharat and Shatabdi are very convenient trains for commuters travelling to Bengaluru and Chennai. They are punctual and well-maintained.

However, a minor adjustment in the time-table of these trains can make them more passenger-friendly. As of now, both the trains do not run on Wednesdays from Mysuru.

Instead of not running both trains on the same day (Wednesday), it would be better if they are not run on different days. Say, Vande Bharat is not run on Wednesday and Shatabdi is not run on Thursday.

This would help commuters have an option to use one of these trains everyday. I request the Railway authorities concerned to look into this suggestion and implement if feasible.
