Vasudeva Rao (58), Accounts Superintendent at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) and a resident of Kuvempunagar ‘M’ Block, passed away yesterday morning following a heart attack at a private hospital in city. He was earlier serving at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office before being transferred to RTO.

He leaves behind his wife Shobha Vasudeva Rao, son Vikram, a television artiste and film actor and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday afternoon, according to family sources.
