Under the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the Women and Child Development Department in association with the Department for Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens and the Office of the District Disabled Welfare Officer, has invited entries from individuals and organisations who have rendered outstanding service in the field of senior citizen issues, for ‘Vayoshreshta Samman’ National  Award for the year 2022. Application forms can be downloaded from http://awards.gov.in or can be submitted at the Office of the District Disabled Welfare Officer. The last date for applying is Aug.19.

Also, applications have been invited from individuals and organisations from different fields who have worked for the cause of the differently-abled persons, for conferment of National Award.  The prescribed applications can be downloaded from  www.awards.gov.in or disabilityaffairs.gov.in and the same must be returned along with supporting documents by Aug. 28.
