Vedanta Deshikar’s ‘Godastuti’ book release on Aug. 16

Vedanta Deshikar’s ‘Godastuti,’ translated into Kannada in verse form will be released on Aug. 16 at Namana Kala Mantapa, 2nd Cross, Krishnamurthypuram, at 5.30 pm. The book is a Kannada version of Deshikar’s ‘Godastuti’, translated in verse form by late Ananta Narayana Iyengar, scholar and late Principal, of Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Senior Sanskrit Scholar Dr. H.V. Nagaraja Rao will speak about the book. Dr. Shelvapille Iyengar, Chairman, DoS in Ancient History and Archaeology, Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), will release the book.  Seetarama Iyengar, retd. Joint Director, Kendra Reshme Mandali, will preside over the function.
