Mysuru:  Ganabharathi has organised a veena trio concert on Apr.13 at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavana  in Kuvempunagar by Vidu. Vani Yadunandan, Dr. Shashidhar and Vid. Maddali Lakshmi. They will be accompanied by Vid. Nikshith Puttur on mridanga and Vid. Raghunandan Vyasarao on ghata.

Profile: Vani Yadunandan began her musical career at a tender age of six under the tutelage of Vidushi Neelamma Kadambi, the most popular Veena artiste at that time. Presently, she is taking guidance from Vid. D. Balakrishna, son of the legendary Veena Maestro Dr. V. Doreswamy Iyengar. A B.Sc graduate from Mysore University, she  has secured first rank in Veena Proficiency Exam (Vidwat) conducted by the State government. She has been giving regular Veena recitals on AIR and Doordarshan as “ A “ Grade artiste. She is a faculty teaching Veena at BVB, Bengaluru.
