Veer Savarkar Balaga offers homage to Capt. Pranjal and other martyrs

Mysore/Mysuru: Members of Veer Savarkar Yuva Balaga, Mysuru, yesterday offered their homage to Capt. Pranjal and other martyrs who were killed during an encounter with the terrorists at Bajimal forest region, Rajouri Sector of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) recently.

The office-bearers and members of the Balaga assembled at Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa statue near Metropole Hotel Circle in the city carrying the portraits of Capt. Pranjal and others.

They lit candles and paid their homage by observing silence. They also raised slogans hailing the martyrs and recalled their sacrifice to the nation.

BJP leaders K.G. Ramesh, Jagadish, Veer Savarkar Yuva Balaga President Rakesh Bhat, Sandesh, Depak, Vikram Iyengar, Ajay Shastri, Kadakola Jagadish, Chakrapani, Ranganath, Jeevan, Madhu and others were present on the occasion.
