Siddaganga Swamiji to be felicitated

Mysuru: The Karnataka State Veerashaiva-Lingayat Employees Welfare Association will hold a Convention of community employees at Siddaganga Mutt in Tumakuru tomorrow (Mar. 11).

Siddaganga Mutt Seer Shivakumara Swamiji will be felicitated on the occasion.

The Convention will urge the Government to confer ‘Bharat Ratna’ award to Shivakumara Swamiji and also press the Union Government to categorise the community under OBC list in Central Recruitments.

The Association has engaged 16 buses to transport the  employees from Mysuru to Tumakuru tomorrow, according to a press release from Association District President M.K. Swamy.
