Vehicle-lifters nabbed

Mysuru: N.R. Police have arrested two vehicle-lifters and have recovered seven two-wheelers worth about Rs. 8 lakh from them.

The arrested have been identified as T. S Vishnu and P. M. Sharfuddin, both natives of Manandavadi in Wayanad district of Kerala.

Vishnu and Sharfuddin were taken into custody by N.R. Police after they were found attempting to sell two Bajaj Pulsar bikes without registration number plates at a cheap price near Pushpashrama Junction on Ring Road on July 5.

During interrogation, the duo are said to have confessed of stealing expensive motorcycles, following which, seven motocycles including five Bajaja Pulsar and two KTM Duke bikes, worth about Rs. 8 lakh were recovered from them.
