Vehicles without registration number plate: Police seize more than 50 vehicles, verify documents

Mysuru: Suspecting that vehicles plying without registration number plates were indulging in crime, the Police have begun checking of vehicles sans number plates at all Sub-Division limits in city since yesterday morning. During the checking taken up by the Traffic and Civil Police personnel, they seized over 50 such vehicles and verified the documents.

DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amathe, speaking to SOM, said that the operation against vehicles plying without number plates is being undertaken as it is suspected that such vehicles were indulging in crime and added that the drive would be intensified.
