Mysuru:  Renowned Musician Vid. Dr. K. Vageesh has been chosen as the President of the JSS Sangeetha Sammelana to be organised by JSS Sangeetha Sabha Trust in city from Dec.2 to 6.

Profile: Coming from a family of musicians, Dr. K. Vageesh got trained in music under Vidu. H.S. Mahalakshmi. He did his Post-Graduation in Music from Mysore University and obtained Doctorate from Delhi University.

He commenced his career at AIR Delhi as Programme Co-ordinator and retired as the Director of AIR Tiruchirapalli. He has given music performance all over the country and also at USA, UK and France. He has also won several State and National awards.
