September 28, 2018

Devagitam Charitable Trust  has organised its Seventh Annual Day function on Sept.29 at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar with  a vocal concert by Vidwan T. S. Pattabhiram Pandit at 6 pm. He will be accompanied by Vidwan T.K.V. Ramanujacharyalu on the violin and Vid. K. U. Jayachandra Rao on the mridanga.

Profile: Vid.Pattabhirama Pandit hails from a family of musicians. His mother initiated him into the field of music at the age of three. After formal training from Vallabham Kalyana Sundaram for 6 years, he also learnt from Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. S. Ramanathan. He later learnt under the able guidance of the Great maestro, Sangeetha Kalanidhi, Padma Shri, Palghat  K.V.Narayanaswamy for nearly 13 years. He is now trained under Padma Narayanaswamy.

An “A” graded artiste of AIR Trichy, Pattabhirama Pandit’s singing style has characteristics of his Guru Narayanaswamy. However, despite the similarities, Pandit’s music is quite distinctive and individualistic.
