‘Vidyuth’ from tomorrow

Mysuru: Vidyuth-2025, the annual cultural fest hosted by Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) will be held from  Apr. 25 to 27 at the college premises.

Addressing media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, College Principal (in-Charge) L.J. Sudev said, “Prof. S.R. Niranjana, Vice-Chairman, Karnataka State Higher Education Council, will inaugurate the event in presence of Vidyavardhaka Sangha President Gundappa Gowda, Secretary P. Vishwanath, Treasurer Shrishail Ramannavar, Principal Prof. B. Sadashive Gowda, Cultural Committee Chairman B.S. Gowrishankar.

On the occasion, the College has also organised a blood donation camp in association with NSS and Red Cross.

Speaking on the occasion, Cultural Secretary S. Gowrishankar said, “Events such as Dog Show, Auto Expo, Rangoli, Rhythm Rumble, The Songbird’s Echo, Mehendi Competition, The Runway Showdown, The Luminous Lens (Photography Contest), BGMI and Free Fire Tournament, Carrom, Treasure Hunt, Mad-Ads, GK and Filmy Quiz, Dub charades, Face Paint, Pictionary had been organised a part of the cultural fest.”

“Many famous artistes will be performing as a part Vidyuth 2025. On Day-1 (Apr. 25), Sandalwood Night will be held with singer Sangeetha Ravindranath entertaining the crowd. Day-2 (Apr. 26) will be Bollywood Night during which singer Shirley Setia will be performing. On Day-3 (Apr. 27), DJ Shiva Manvi will entertain the crowd,” he said.

Prof. H.S. Punith, Prof. H. Lakshmi and Prof. Spoorthi were also present.
