Vignanotsava: Prizes distributed

Mysuru:  The Karnataka State Science Council, Mysuru unit, had recently organised the prize distribution programme of ‘Vignanotsava-2019’ for the city high school students at Hardwicke High School here on JLB Road.

Speaking on the occasion, tutor R. Anantharam said that today Science and Technology had enormously developed, but Pure Science was lagging behind for which Pure Science related programmes were being conducted. He called upon the students to develop in Science at their school stage and carry out research works on the usefulness of Pure Science to society.

Prof. A.T. Bhashyam, in his key note address, said that one must first understand what science is and its usefulness to the society. 

Gurubhaktaiah, Head Master of Hardwicke High School, called upon the students to develop interest in Pure Science.

Students of Ramakrishna Vidyashala secured the ‘Trophy’ while students of Vijaya Vittala secured 2nd Prize.
