Vijayadashami at ISKCON

Vijayadashami will be celebrated at ISKCON premises in Jayanagar on Oct. 8 from 5.30 pm onwards. The celebrations will begin with Sri Rama Dasha Sahasrarchana Puja (chanting of the Holy names of Lord Ramachandra) followed by a talk on ‘Dasara Festival: A Spiritual Outlook’ by Stoka Krishna Swami, GBC Member and Vice-President of ISKCON, Bengaluru. Later, Arpanam: A tribute to Sri Rama and Lord Vishnu through a dance-drama by Sahrdaya Foundation, Chennai, will be held followed by Gaja Vahana Utsava and Sri Rama Vijayam (60 ft. tall effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarana and Meghnaad to showcase the victory of Lord Sri Rama).
