Vijayanagar 3rd Stage crying for attention

April 23, 2023

Sir,

The B-Block of Vijayanagar 3rd Stage Park opposite Royal Concord School and the neighbourhood is in a state of disarray and crying for attention.

1. There are dried out trees inside and outside the park premises that are being devoured by termites and are ready to fall on innocent children playing in the park (see photo).

2. The same park turns into a place for illegal activities after sunset where individuals use park premises to consume alcohol and other narcotic substance and one can find beer bottles, cigarette packets littered all over the park.

3. The rainwater drains are filled with sewage water (see photo) and stagnant sewage has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes which in turn may cause health implications in neighbourhood.

Hope, the Mysuru City Corporation and the Police take appropriate steps to address these issues.
