Vijayanagar 3rd Stage residents ‘orphaned’ by MCC, MUDA!

April 27, 2017

Sir,

The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) seems to have orphaned Vijayanagar 3rd Stage residents. Thanks to MUDA, which is yet to handover the property to the civic body, garbage cleaning is not carried out  regularly in this layout. Also the drainage near Mulakanadu Bhavan in the area is overflowing since the past one week and  remains unattended till date.

The continuous overflow of drainage water into the open is emanating foul smell in the area and there is every chance of outbreak of epidemic diseases.

Also, house taxes are not received at the MCC  Office as the MUDA has not handed over the property. On behalf of the residents, I request the authorities concerned to  look into this lacunae and recognise Vijayanagar III Stage residents as  citizens of Mysuru city.
