 ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Railway’ contest: Lalitha High School students at AIR event

Mysore/Mysuru: The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) is an ambitious programme of the Indian Railways to upgrade the infrastructural facilities and ramp up passenger amenities at over 1,300 stations across India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for proposed works virtually at 800 stations on Feb. 26 from Delhi.

Ahead of this event, an essay and drawing competition was conducted at Lalitha High School, Yadavagiri, Mysuru on Feb.20 under the theme ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Railway.’

Yesterday, the All India Radio (AIR), Mysuru, interacted with the eight students of the school, who won prizes, to know their perspectives on the developments they wish to see on the Indian Railways.
