Vinaya Prasad inaugurates ‘Rangapravesha’

Actor Vinaya Prasad is seen lighting the lamp to inaugurate ‘Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha’ at Jaganmohan Palace in city on Monday as Guru Vid. Sridhar Jain, JSS Mahavidyapeetha Secretary-II S.P. Mysuru: Sri Nimishamba School of Dance had organised ‘Rangapravesha’ at Jaganmohan Palace here on Monday for M.N. Vachana and H.N Niveditha, the disciples of Vid. Sridhar Jain, the Founder of the Dance School.

The two disciples presented a delectable Bharatanatyam dancing to the song ‘Nudidare muttina haaradantirabeku’ with perfect rhythm and steps drawing a good applause from the audience.

Inaugurating the programme, actor Vinaya Prasad commended the performance of the two artistes and praised the mentors.

She pointed out that though dance was a form of art, the performance with matching emotions could be evolved depending on the individual talent. She appreciated the parents of the two artistes for providing due encouragement.

JSS University Vice-Chancellor Dr. B. Suresh, artistes Vid. Surya N. Rao, Vidu. Prathama Prasad, Shivakumar Swamy of Suttur Mutt, Sridhar Jain and others were present.

‘Natuvanga’ for the Bharatnatyam was provided by Sridhar Jain, music by Naveen Andhagar, mridanga by G.T. Swamy, violin by Shantakumar, flute by A.P. Krishanaprasad, rhythmpad by Raghavendra Rangadhole.
