Vinuthamma (97), wife of late Keshava Iyengar and belonging to the well-known Kogode family, passed away early this morning at Brindavan Hospital in city.

A resident of Jayalakshmipuram, she leaves behind son Ram Kishen, three daughters and grand children.

Last rites were performed today at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam.

Condoled: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB), Mysuru Kendra, condoling her death, has in a press release stated that BVB was indebted to Vinuthamma for establishing Indira Belur Memorial Library at BVB through her daughter Indira Belur, who donated generously.
