Vinuthan-2020, State-level Inter-College Fest from tomorrow

Mysuru/Mysore: The Commerce, Management and Computer Science Departments of Sri K. Puttaswamy First Grade College in city, under the aegis of Vidyavardhaka Sangha, is jointly organising a two-day State-level fest, ‘Vinuthan-2020’ on Mar. 6 and 7 at Sri Sahukar Chennaiah Auditorium, VVCE campus in Gokulam here. 

Renowned Karnatak vocalist Vidushi Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar will inaugurate the fest tomorrow at 9.30 am with Vidyavardhaka Sangha  Secretary P. Vishwanath as chief guest, Treasurer S.N. Lakshminarayana and Governing Council Member D. Subbaiah as the guests of honour. Vidyavardhaka Sangha President Gundappa Gowda will preside. 

As part of the two-day fest, competitions like Best Entrepreneur in Marketing, Finance, International Business, Human Resource and Codes and Errors; Photography, Mad-ads, Treasure Hunt, PPT Animator, Singing, Classical Dance, Folk Dance, Western Dance, Monoacting, Mime and Skit will be held along with Inter-Collegiate cultural competitions. 

On the occasion, Sindhu Krishnan and troupe will present an Odissi dance recital at 6.30 pm. On Mar. 7, students of the College will present various cultural programmes.

Valedictory of Vinuthan-2020 will be held on Mar. 7 at 4 pm. Winners of various competitions will be awarded trophies, cash prizes and certificates. Mr. Asia 2020 D.C. Nagesh will deliver the valedictory address. Sangha  Secretary Vishwanath will preside. College Principal Dr. M. Shivalinge Gowda, Sangha Treasurer S.N. Lakshminarayana and Governing Council Member D. Subbaiah will be present.
